華厳ノ滝

日本三名瀑の一つ、「華厳の滝」。中禅寺湖の水が高さ97mの岸壁を一気に落下する、自然による造形美は必見。観瀑台からは爆音とともに水しぶきが弾ける滝つぼを見ることもできます。四季折々の美しさがありますが、とくに1月から2月にかけては細い小瀧が凍り滝全体がブルーアイスに染まるため、幻想的な光景を生み出します。

Kegon Falls

One of Japan's three famous waterfalls, "Kegon Falls". The water of Lake Chuzenji falls down the 97m-high quay in one fell swoop. From the observatory, you can also see the basin of the waterfall where the water splashes with the roar. It is beautiful in every season, but especially from January to February, when the thin small waterfall freezes and the entire waterfall is dyed in blue ice, it creates a fantastic sight.
