秋・四季の風景が美しい平家の里（日光・栃木）

【平家の里】

日光市の湯西川温泉にある歴史テーマパークで、かつて平家の落人たちが築いた集落での生活様式を再現した民俗村。園内には茅葺き屋根の民家が移築され、木杓子づくりの道具などの民俗資料や平家の系図・武具などの展示、甘味・お土産処などに分かれている。甘味処では、平家落人自慢の味「栃もち」「おしるこ」などが人気。毎年6月に「平家大祭」が行われ、約2kmにわたり平家絵巻行列が練り歩く。

[Heike Village]

A historical theme park located in Yunishigawa Onsen in Nikko City, this folk village recreates the lifestyle of the village once built by the Heike fugitives. A private house with a thatched roof has been relocated to the park, and is divided into folk materials such as tools for making wooden ladle, genealogy of the Heike family, displays of armor, sweets and souvenirs. At the sweets shop, popular flavors such as "Tochimochi" and "Oshiruko", which are the pride of the Heike Occupants. Every year in June, the Heike Grand Festival is held, and a procession of Heike picture scrolls is paraded for about 2km.
