【湯元温泉】

戦場ヶ原の奥にあり、湯川の水源となる湯ノ湖。その北岸に開けた静かな温泉街が湯元温泉です。

日光の奥座敷といわれ、約1200年前に日光開山の祖・勝道上人が発見したとされる白濁の硫黄泉が湧く名湯で、神経痛やリウマチに効くといわれています。

温泉街には無料で利用できる足湯「あんよの湯」があり、効能豊かな温泉を気軽に楽しむことができます。

湯けむりの向こうに湯ノ湖や山々の景観が広がる、豊かな自然に抱かれた心休まる人気の温泉地です。

Located deep in Senjogahara, Lake Yunoko is the source of Yukawa. Yumoto Onsen is a quiet hot spring town on the north bank.

Known as the back room of Nikko, this famous hot spring is said to be effective for neuralgia and rheumatism, with its cloudy sulfuric springs said to have been discovered about 1,200 years ago by Shodo Shonin, the founder of Nikko.

In the hot spring town, there is a footbath "Anyo no Yu" that you can use for free, and you can easily enjoy the hot springs that are rich in efficacy.

It is a popular hot spring area where you can relax and be surrounded by rich nature, with views of Lake Yunoko and the mountains beyond the steam.
