【箱根神社】

箱根神社は、奈良朝の初期（757年）に箱根大神の御神託によって創建され、かつては関東総鎮守・箱根権現と称されました。古くは源頼朝や徳川家康など武家による崇敬の篤いお社として栄えました。湖面に建てられた鳥居も特徴のひとつで、神秘的スポットとしてSNSなどで話題となっています。最近では行列になっている時もあり、写真を撮るのに待つこともあるのでご注意を。湖面にスワンボートで接近してみるのもおすすめです。この箱根神社と箱根元宮、九頭龍神社をセットで参拝することを箱根三社参りと呼び、より一層大きな御神徳を授かることができるといわれています。なお、箱根神社の龍神水はペットボトルに入れて持ち帰ることもできます。
