作並温泉の近く下流の広瀬川に注ぐ大小さまざまな滝の姿。美しさはもちろん、個性豊かな水の音を奏でます。その幻想的な音が、伝説の鳳凰の鳴き声を想像させることから「鳳鳴四十八滝」と名づけられました。季節によって変化する景観も見どころです。
